For Insurance Representatives
Great Circle accepts most insurance plans. We will work with insurance representatives on the application and authorization process needed for admission.
Your insurance plan will make the decision about entering into a single case agreement. Great Circle’s admissions staff can assist with this process by arranging for an assessment to be scheduled and for your plan to be contacted with the rationale for the admission and the request for a single case agreement. Before beginning the process, admissions staff will check your benefits to determine if there are out-of-network benefits that may apply and will discuss those with you before moving to a request for a single case agreement.
Initial authorizations are obtained by Great Circle admissions staff. Admissions staff will verify eligibility and benefits and contact the health plan for authorization for the admission. Continued stay reviews and discharge reviews are completed by Great Circle’s Insurance Care Manager at regular intervals according to the plan’s request.
