Community impact highlights:

  • Emergency shelter services provided through Ozarks Family Resource Center brought stability during critical times to 283 area children.
  • 58 families attended parenting classes through the Parenting Life Skills Center.
  • Intensive family intervention services helped families avoid at-risk behaviors, including avoiding alcohol/substance use, and improving time management skills.
  • 24-hour specialized care touched 1,173 lives.

  • 37 staff completed Trauma 101 training
  • 26 staff completed Trauma 201 training Regional advancements in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics and Education® (NMT and NME) include certification of 1 NMT trainer, 1 NME trainer, 2 clinicians in NMT Phase 1 training, and 7 staff members in the NM Advanced Learner Track
  • Bruemmer Cottage transforming into a NMT cottage
  • Quarterly guest speakers set up with Foster Adopt Connect to provide training to foster parents
28 children in foster care found a permanent home including 11 being reunified with their biological families!
