Great Circle Client Rights and Responsibilities
The rights and responsibilities of each client are paramount at Great Circle, and, as outlined below, help to protect and empower him/her while receiving treatment and participating in Great Circle programs.
You have the right to:
- Be safe
- Be heard
- Be respected
- Learn
- Be cared for
- Participate in planning your treatment program
- Receive visitors and communicate by phone or mail as guided by treatment team decisions
- File a grievance, should you feel you are treated unfairly
- Contact the Child Abuse Hotline
- Be informed of the medication you are prescribed and possible side effects
- Have your personal information shared with only those who need to know to keep you safe
You have the responsibility to:
- Keep yourself and others safe
- Listen to others
- Respect the rights of others and their property
- Participate in your treatment and treatment planning
- Appropriately communicate the needs you have
- Take ownership of your issues and work toward improvement
- Stay within the guidelines given to you regarding the people on your contact list
- Be truthful and open to resolving any issues that arise
- Properly follow medical orders
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others
- Follow rules and expectations of those caring for you
