Autism Camp Program

Overview

Skilled staff will provide your child with incredible opportunities for enjoyment, challenge, and growth through adventure and outdoor activities. Support personnel are also on-site and available to assist whenever needed with sensory, communication, and/or behavioral support.

Camps for children on the autism spectrum

Our five-day camps were created to give kids with autism the opportunity to engage in adventure and outdoor activities while inspiring growth in awareness, self-efficacy, and social skills. Kids will get to engage in fun activities such as challenge courses, aquatics, boating, horses, games, and bonfires. Program participants also stay in the ranch’s main lodge facility, which is fully equipped with beds, showers, a full-service kitchen and a recreation area.

Respite weekends for families affected by autism spectrum disorder

Respite weekends are intended to help families break away from the stress of day-to-day living while their child or children expand their awareness and confidence in a supportive, exciting and safe adventure setting. This is a unique opportunity for your child to unwind while developing self-efficacy and social skills in the great outdoors. Respite also gives parents a chance to relax, reenergize, and rejuvenate. Respite programs run Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Participants stay in the Learning Center facility.

Kyle's Mom

"I did not expect my son would ever go to an overnight summer camp. But his experience was so great, and I was very impressed and touched by what I witnessed here. I plan on him attending Great Circle's camp next year."
